Medicine and Healthcare

Hosted at Concurrency

Students will engage in profession-based experiences in patient care-focused areas. Medicine and Healthcare students pursue knowledge and skills about medical terminology, techniques in patient care, and empathy for the patients within their area of focus. Students apply their knowledge through projects and observations that require collaborative teams to tell stories, solve problems, and communicate results to medicine and healthcare professionals.

First Year Students  - 3 credit experience

  • Medical Terminology** (1 credit)
  • Culture of Healthcare** (1 credit)
  • Mentorship (1 credit)

Second Year Students  - 3 credit experience

  • Project Pursuit - Healthcare (1 credit)
  • Anatomy & Physiology~ (1+ HS Credit, ECCP)
  • Mentorship (1 credit)

Optional Experience for First or Second Year:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant~ (0.5 credit)
